 Vietnam's shrimp exports have grown again
Specifically, according to MARD data, by the end of August, shrimp export value was estimated at US $ 2.1 billion, while Pangasius export turnover was US $ 1.33 billion; contributed significantly to the 1.6% growth of the entire agricultural sector in the first 8 months, with an estimated value of US $ 26.6 billion.
Particularly for shrimp, after a long time of decline, in July, Vietnam's shrimp exports witnessed positive growth for the first time. Specifically, the shrimp export value in July 2019 reached US $ 334 million, up 13.4% over the same period last year.
